Half day or full day classes are available for a very special and enjoyable learning experience. We can provide Gift Vouchers for any course or for buying chocolate.
Full day classes run from 10am to 4pm unless otherwise stated.
You’ll make various types of chocolates, using luxurious chocolate and locally sourced flavouring ingredients and dairy produce. Our qualified chocolatier shows you a range of techniques used by the best chocolate houses in the world and will guide you step by step through tempering, dipping and moulding processes while you create several different sorts of delicious chocolates. You will take home at least 30 – 50 chocolates, all beautifully gift wrapped. You will also have the opportunity to experience a 'chocolate tasting’ comprising several varieties of grand cru chocolate from cacao plantations around the world.
Half day classes run from 10.00am to 1.00pm
The morning will be full of hands on chocolate making to include tempering and dipping techniques, as well as moulding, with a chocolate tasting as well, and, of course, you will take home lots of your own beautifully wrapped, handmade chocolates.
'Clever Chocolates' classes from 10am to 5pm
These are for anybody who has already attended a 'Chocolate Amour' chocolate making course or for those of you that are good cooks, know a little about chocolate already, or just confident that you can pick up the techniques very quickly and would like to learn more detailed techniques. You will make deliciously creative filled chocolates to take home with you.
All the recipes and information about chocolate ‘from bean to bar’ will be given to you during both classes so that you can concentrate on making
chocolates and enjoying the day without having to scribble notes!
